    خالد بن صنون خالد بن محمد بن زين الدين المعروف بابن صنون بفتح الصاد المهملة وتشديد النون الحمصي الخلوتي الشيخ لمبارك المعتقد الصالح الدين الخير السيد الشريف ولد في سنة سبع وأربعين وألف وكان يتردد إلى دمشق ولبعض أهلها اعتقاد عليه وكان يتردد إلى الاستاذ الشيخ عبد الغني النابلسي الدمشقي وكان يثني عليه وهو من أصحابه وبالجملة فقد كان من الأشراف الصالحين أهل الجذب والخير وكأنت وفاته في أواخر جمادي الأولى سنة ثلاث ومائة وألف ودفن بحمص في تربة الأشراف عند باب الدريب بضم الدال المهملة مصغراً أحد أبواب حمص رحمه الله تعالى.
