٥٢٥ - عمر بن محمد بن عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد الله بن عمرويه أبو حفص السهروردي. قدم بغداد شابا بعد وفاة عبد الأول فسمع بها من جماعة منهم أبو المظفرهبة الله بن أحمد بن الشبلي وأبو الفتح بن البطي وأبو بكر بن المقرب ويحيى بن ثابت وغيرهم وسمع من أبي زرعة طاهر بن محمد بن طاهر المقدسي كتاب السنن لأبي عبد الله محمد بن يزيد بن ماجه جميعه سمعته منه وكان سماعه صحيحا وكان شيخ العراق في وقته صاحب مجاهدة وإيثار وطريقة جيدة مولده في سنة تسع وثلاثين وخمسمائة.
