٧ - محمد بن إسماعيل بن يوسف بن يعقوب بن إسحاق بن إبراهيم اليعقوبي النسفي نسب إلى جده. سمع جده لأمه أبا عثمان سعيد بن إبراهيم بن معقل وأبا يعلى عبد المؤمن بن خلف قال السمعاني في كتاب الأنساب روى عنه أهل بخارى وسمعوا منه جامع الترمذي ست مرات روى عنه أبو العباس المستغفري وغيره توفي سنة تسع وثمانين وثلاثمائة في شهر رمضان
