١٢٣٠- (٣) ومحمد بن أبي السري أبو عبد الله البخاري واسم أبي السري إسماعيل بن طرخون حدث عن سفيان بن عيينة ويحيى بن سليم ومروان بن معاوية والوليد بن مسلم وابن أبي فديك روى عنه إسحاق بن أحمد بن خلف البخاري وبلغني أنه مات في سنة سبع وأربعين ومائتين. (١٤٠٤) سمعت علي بن المحسن التنوخي يقول سمعت أبا نصر أحمد بن محمد بن إبراهيم الحازمي البخاري يقول سمعت إسحاق ابن أحمد بن خلف يقول سمعت محمد بن أبي السري يقول سمعت ابن عيينة يقول قال سمعت عبد الملك بن عمير يقول سمعت جندب بن عبد الله قال رسول الله ﷺ ألا إني فرطكم على الحوض.
