[٥١١] محَمَّد بن هشام، أبو نعيم، الجرجاني، العمركى. حدَّث عن: يوسف بن يعقوب بن فنَّاكي الرازي. وعنه: أبو الحسن الدَّارقُطْنِي بمصر. قال حمزة السهمي: كان من الثّناء والمياسير من أهل جرجان، وله بجرجان ضياع وعقار في كلّ محلَّة؛ معروف به، وله ببَغْدَاد عقار في درب السكوني، وداره بمصر في زقاق القناديل، وكان له أفضال على أهل جرجان وغيرهم، وكان شَيْخنا أبو الحسن الدَّارقُطْنِي الحافظ ﵀ كثيرًا ما يحكي عنه، ويشكره لا أنعم عليه، دخلت داره بمصر على ابن عمه، وختنه على ابنته، حدث بمصر عن عمران بن موسى السختياني، وغيره. قلت: [صدوق جليل القدر]. تَارِيخ جرجان (٨٤٠)، اللِّسَان (٧/ ٥٦٣).
