[٤٩٧] محَمَّد بن محَمَّد بن عتيبة، بن صُبْح، أبو بكر المعيطي، الدمشقي حدَّث عن: العباس بن محَمَّد بن العباس المصري، وأحْمَد بن يحيى بن حيان، ومحَمَّد بن محسن. وعنه: أبو الحسن الدَّارقُطْنِي في "سننه" وعبد الغني بن سعيد الأزدي. قال عبد الغني بن سعيد: سمعنا منه، وكان له لسان طويل وأذى شديد. قلت: [متروك]. السُّنَن (٢/ ١٩٦)، المؤتلف للأزدي (٩٥)، الإكمال (٦/ ١٢٤)، توضيح المشتبه (٦/ ١٦٩).
