    [٣٧٤] محَمَّد بن أحْمَد بن صالح بن علي بن سيار بن على بن أبي طالب بن أبي ليلى، أبو بكر، الأزدي، الوكيل، السامري، الدَّانقي، ثمّ البَغْدَادي، باب الطاق. حدَّث عن: أحْمَد بن بُدَيْل اليامي، والحسن بن عرفة وأحْمَد بن محَمَّد القطان، والزُّبَير ابن بكَّار، وعلي بن حرب، وغيرهم.وعنه: أبو الحسن الدَّارقُطْنِي في "سننه" والقاضي أبو الحسن الجَرَّاحي، وأبو بكر بن شَاذَان، وأبو حفص بن شاهين، وأبو طاهر المُخَلِّص، وأبو عبد الله بن بَطَّة. قال الدَّارقُطْنِي: ثقة. مات في ذي الحجة، سَنَة أربع وعشرين وثلاثمائة. قلت: [ثقة]. السُّنَن (٣/ ١١٤)، تَارِيخ بَغْدَاد (١/ ٣٠٨)، تَارِيخ الإِسْلَام (٤/ ١٥٩).
