[٣٢٩] علي بن محَمَّد بن علي بن سعيد بن سعد بن صالح، أبو الحسن، الحُصَيني، الحراني. حدَّث عن: محَمَّد بن الحسن بن قُتيبة. وعنه: أبو الحسن الدَّارقُطْنِي في "غرائب مالك" وذكر أنّه حدثه بمصر من أصله. قال عبد الغني بن سعيد: محدِّث، أبو محدِّث، كتبنا عن ابنه صالح بن علي. وقال ابنالطحان في "ذيله": حدثونا عنه. قلت: [ثقة] فالرجل مشهور بالحديث والرحلة فيه، ولم يُجرح. مشتبه النسبة (٢٨)، ذيل ابن الطحان على تَارِيخ الغرباء لابن يونس (٤٠٠)، الإكمال (٤٠٠)، الإكمال (٣/ ٣٧)، الأَنْسَاب (٢/ ٢٧١)، مختصره "اللباب" (١/ ٣٧٠)، توضيح المشتبه (٢/ ٣٦٩)، اللِّسَان (٢/ ٢٤٦)، تبصير المنتبه (١/ ٣٣٩).
