[٣٠٩] على بن العباس بن الفضل، أبو الحسن، الطيالسي، الهروي، ثمّ البَغْدَادي حدَّث عن: الحسن بن محَمَّد الزَّعفراني، وأحْمَد بن منصور الرمادي، وجعفر بن الصائغ. وعنه: أبو الحسن الدَّارقُطْنِي، ويوسف بن عمر القَوَّاس، وابن الثَّلَّاج. قال الخَطِيب: كان يسكن درب رياح. مات يوم الخميس، ودفن يوم الجمعة لثمان بقين من شهر ربيع الاخر، ودفن في الشُّونيزية. قلت: [مجهول الحال]. تَارِيخ بَغْدَاد (٢/ ٢٦)، تَارِيخ الإِسْلَام (٢٤/ ٢١١).
