    [٣٠٤] على بن الحسن بن قَحْطَبَة، أبو القاسم البَغْدَادى، الصَّيقل حدَّث عن: مجاهد بن موسى، ومحمود بن خداش، ويعقوب الدورقي، ومحَمَّد بن عبد الملك الدقيقي. وعنه: أبو الحسن الدَّارقُطْنِي في "سننه" وذكر أنّه حدثه قراءة وهو يسمع، وعبد الله بن عثمان الصفار، وابن شاهين، ويوسف القَوَّاس.وثقه الدَّارقُطْنِي، وصحح له، وقال محَمَّد بن عمر بن إسماعيل الداودي عن الدَّارقُطْنِي: ثقة صدوق. وقال الذَّهَبِي: ثقة. مات سنَة ثلاث وعشرين وثلاثمائة. قال مقيده - عفا الله عنه -: وهو غير علي بن الحسن الصيقل القزويني. قلت: [ثقة]. السُّنَن (١/ ٣١٢)، تَارِيخ بَغْدَاد (١١/ ٣٨٢)، تَارِيخ الإِسْلَام (٢٤/ ١٣٣).
