[٢٩٦] علي بن أحْمَد بن الهيثم بن خالد، أبو الحسن البزاز، العُكْبُري حدَّث عن: أبيه، وعن علي بن حرب، وعباس بن عبد الله الزقفي، وعيسى بن أبي حرب الصفار، وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو الحسن الدَّارقُطْنِي في "سننه" ويوسف القَوَّاس، وابن الثَّلَّاج. قال الدَّارقُطْنِي: الشَّيْخ الصالح. وذكره القَوَّاس في جملة شيوخه الثقات. وقال ابن الجوزي: كان ثقة. وقال الذَّهَبِي: وثقه القَوَّاس. مات في صفر سَنَة ثمان وعشرين وثلاثمائة. قلت: [نَقة صالح]. السُّنَن (١/ ٣٤٠)، (٣/ ٢٥)، الرؤية (١٢٤)، تَارِبخ بَغْدَاد (١١/ ٢٢٠)، المنتَظِم (١٣/ ٣٨٧)، تاريخ الإسلام (٢٤/ ٢٣١).
