٣٣٠٦ - عمر بن محمد بن زيد بن عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب العدوي العمري: المدني، نزل عسقلان، أخو أبي بكر وعاصم وزيد وواقد، وأمه هو وأبو بكر قرة العين من بني ضبة، يروي عن جده وحفص بن عاصم وسالم ونافع، وجماعة، وعنه شعبة والسفيانان وابن وهب وعمر بن عبد الواحد الدمشقي وأبو عاصم ومالك ومحمد بن شعيب بن شابور وابن عم جده أبو بكر بن عبد الله بن عبد الله بن زيد وآخرون، وثقه ابن سعد والعجلي وغيرهما، وروى له الشيخان، وذكر في التهذيب: ولم يعقب، وكان زائد الطول من أفضل أهل زمانه، له قدر وجلالة، قدم بغداد والكوفة وحدث، مات سنة خمسين ومائة بعد شقيقه أبي بكر.
