٣١٧٦ - عمرو بن أبي سفيان بن أسيد بن جارية السقفي: حليف بني زهرة. عداده في أهل المدينة، ذكره مسلم في ثالثة تابعي المدنيين يروي عن أبي هريرة وأبي موسى، وعنه الزهري والحجاج بن فرافصة، قاله ابن حبان في ثانية ثقاته، وذكر في التهذيب ورابع الإصابة، وقد ينسب إلى جده ويقال اسمه عمر، يروي أيضا عن عمر وعنه ابن أخيه عبد الملك بن عبد الله بن أبي سفيان.
