    ٢٨٣٨ - عبيدة (بضم العين وفتح الباء) بن الحارث بن عبد المطلب بن عبد مناف: أبو الحارث، القرشي المطلبي، أخو أبي الطفيل والحصين، أمهم: سخيلة ابنة خزاعي بن الحويرث الثقفية، وكانت عبيدة أسن من رسول الله ﷺ بعشر سنين، وهو أحد من هاجر إلى المدينة قبل رسول الله ﷺ، حمل على شيبة بن ربيعة يوم بدر فطعن كل منهما صاحبه، فقتل عبيدة شيبة، وقطع شيبة رجل عبيدة فحمل عبيدة إلى رسول الله ﷺ وعاش حتى رحل رسول الله من بدر إلى المدينة، فلما بلغ رسول الله ﷺ الصفراء، توفي عبيدة بها وهو ابن ثلاث وستين سنة، وعقد النبي ﷺ له لواء على ستين من المهاجرين، ليس فيهم أنصاري، فكانت أول راية عقدت في الإسلام، كما شرح في المغازي.
