    ٢٣٤٨ - عبد الحكم بن عبد الله بن أبي فروة: أبو عبد الله المدني مولى عثمان بن عفان، والماضي أخوه عبد الأعلى مع الإشارة لإخوته: إسحاق وغيره فيه، يروي عن سعيد بن المسيب وعباس بن سهل، وعنه: ابن المبارك، وثقه ابن معين ثم ابن حبان وقال: مات سنة ست وخمسين ومائة، وهو في الميزان، وقال: صويلح، وضعفاء العقيلي وقال: يروي عن عابس بن سهل، وساق حديثه وقال: لا يتابع عليه ولا يعرف إلا بالواقدي عنه، وقال البزار: مشهور، صالح الحديث من أهل المدينة، وقال الدارقطني: مقل يعتبر به.
