١٩٣٥ - عباد بن حمزة بن عبد الله بن الزبير بن العوام: الأسدي القرشي المدني، أخو عبد الملك. يروي عن جدة أبيه أسماء وأختها عائشة ابنتي أبي بكر الصديق وجابر، وعنه: هشام بن عروة وأسرى بن عبد الرحمن المدني. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات. قالالزبير في النسب: كان سريا سخيا حلوا، يضرب المثل بحسنه. قال الأحوص يصف امرأة: لها حسن عباد، وجسم ابن واقد … وريح أبي حفص، ودين ابن نوفل يعني بأن واقد: عثمان بن واقد بن عبد الله بن عمر، وبأبي حفص عمر بن عبد العزيز، وبابن نوفل: إنسانا كان بالمدينة. وهو ممن خرج له مسلم وغيره. ذكره في التهذيب.
