    ١٦٤٩ - سليمان بن هبة بن جماز بن منصور: أخو جماز الماضي، استقر به صاحب مكة حسن بن عجلان في إمرة المدينة بعد عجلان بن نعير إلى أن قبض عليه بعد الحج بالمدينة لسوء سيرته في العشر الأخير من ذي الحجة سنة خمس عشرة وثمانمائة وقرر يلبغا المظفري أمير الحاج المصري عوضه ابن أخيه غرير بمعجمة، ثم مهملتين مصغر، بن هيازع به هبة، وحمل صاحب الترجمة وأخاه إلى مصر فسجنا بها، حتى مات صاحب الترجمة مسجونا سنة سبع عشرة «وثمانمائة».
