١٠٦٧ - حميدان بن محمد بن مسعودي الشكيلي المدني: كان قارئا ورئيسا، ولي الحسبة في أيام وديّ سنة سبع وثلاثين وسبعمائة، وكانت له هيبة وهمة، وحسن سياسة، ممن كثر ماله، وعمر المغلق من ماله، ولم يطل عمره، مات سنة خمس وأربعين وسبعمائة، قاله ابن فرحون، وقال ابن صالح: إنه كان رفيقه في القراءة على الشيخ أبي عبد الله القصري، وأن القصري جمعه في غيره من طلبته، وحذرهم من الولايات، فكان ذلك إشارة إلى ولايتهم.
