    ٥٢ - إبراهيم بن سويد بن حبان المدني: روى عن أنيس بن أبي يحيى الأسلمي، وعبد الله بن عقيل، وعمرو بن أبي عمرو، ويزيد بن أبي عبيد، وعنه ابن وهب وسعيد بن أبي مريم وثقه ابن معين، وقال أبو زرعة: ليس به بأس وذكره ابن حبان في الثالثة من ثقاته، وقال: ربما أتى بالمناكير، وهو من رجال التهذيب، لتخريج البخاري وأبي داود له، وأورده القطب الحلبي في تاريخ مصر، وقال: ينظر هل جاء مصر؟ فكتب له الحافظ العراقي: ذكر الخطيب في «المتفق والمفترق» أنه مصري، وكذا قال شيخنا ما نصه: ونسبه الخطيب مصريا.
