    ١٣٦٢ - سنجر الْأَمِير الْكَبِير علم الدّين الجاولي أحد أُمَرَاء المشورة الَّذين يَجْلِسُونَ بِحَضْرَة السُّلْطَان سمع مُسْند الشَّافِعِي بالكرك على دانيال وَعمل نِيَابَة السلطنة بغزة مُدَّة وَبنى بهَا مدرسة الشَّافِعِيَّة وجامعا حسنا وَعمل نِيَابَة حماة مُدَّة وَكَانَ رجلا فَاضلا يستحضر كثيرا من نُصُوص الشَّافِعِي وصنف شرح مُسْند الشَّافِعِي جمعه من شُرُوح الرَّافِعِيّ وَابْن الْأَثِير وَشرح مُسلم للنووي وَنقل عبارَة كل وَاحِد بنصها وَله عمائر كَثِيرَة خانات ومدارس وَغَيرهَا توفّي فِي رَمَضَان سنة خمس وَأَرْبَعين وَسَبْعمائة بِالْقَاهِرَةِ
