    ٨٥ - أَحْمد بن على بن طَاهِر الجوبقى بِفَتْح الْجِيم ثمَّ وَاو سَاكِنة ثمَّ بَاء مَفْتُوحَة ثمَّ قَاف نِسْبَة إِلَى الجوبق مَوضِع بنسف أَبُو نصر الأديب الشَّاعِر من أهل نسف رَحل إِلَى الْعرَاق بعد سنة عشْرين وثلاثمائة واستكثر من شُيُوخ الْعرَاق وخراسان ودرس الْفِقْه على أَبى إِسْحَاق المروزى وعلق عَنهُ شرح مُخْتَصر المزنى ثمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى نسف وَأقَام بهَا سنتَيْن ثمَّ أعَاد الرحلة ثمَّ خرج حَاجا فى سنة تسع وَثَلَاثِينَ وَحج وَمَات بالبادية منصرفا من الْحَج سنة أَرْبَعِينَ وثلاثمائة
