محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد السلام الغساني من أهل غرناطة يكنى أبا عبد الله كان محدثاً نبيلاً حافظاً ذكياً. وله شرح حفيل على كتاب الشهادات واختصار حسن في اقتباس الأنوار للرشاطي. وكان وافر الحظ من الأدب ويقرض شعراً لا بأس به. توفي سنة تسع عشرة وستمائة.
