محمد بن حسن بن محمد بن عبد الله بن خلف الأنصاري من أهل مالقة يكنى أبا عبد الله ويعرف بابن الحاج وبابن صاحب الصلاة. وكان مقرئاً صدراً في أئمة التجويد محدثاً متقناً ضابطاً نبيل الخط والتقييد ديناً فاضلاً وصنف في الحديث وخطب بجامع بلده وأم في الفريضة واستمرت حاله كذلك من نشر العلم وبثه وإفادته إلى أن أكرمه الله بالشهادة في وقعة العقاب. روى بالأندلس عن أبي الحجاج بن الشيخ وأبي الحجاج بن كوثر وأبي خالد بن يزيد بن رفاعة وأبوي عبد الله بن عروس وابن الفخار وأبي محمد بن حوط الله وعبد المنعم بن الفرس وحج في نحو سنة ثمانين وخمسمائة. توفي شهيداً محرضاً صابراً في سنة تسع وستمائة.
