محمد القاضي أبو عبد الله بن خلف بن سعيد المعروف بابن المرابط المري فقيه بلده ومفتيه ولي قضاء مندة كان من أهل الفقه والفضل والتفنن سمع أبا القاسم المهلب وأجازه أبو عمر الطلمنكي وله في شرح البخاري كتاب كبير حسن ورحل إليه الناس وسمعوا منه فمنهم القاضي أبو عبد الله التميمي والقاضي أبو علي الحافظ والفقيه أبو محمد بن أبي جعفر. توفي بالمدينة بعد الثمانين وأربعمائة.
