أبو القاسم بن محرز المقري القيرواني تفقه بأبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن وأبي عمران وأبي حفص كان فقيهاً نظاراً نبيلاً وابتلي بالجذام في آخر عمره وله تصانيف حسنة منها تعليق على المدونة سماه التبصرة وكتابه الكبير المسمى بالقصد والإيجاز. توفي في نحو الخمسين وأربعمائة رحمه الله تعالى.
