قاسم بن أحمد بن محمد بن عثمان التجيبي المعروف بابن أرفع رأسه طليطلي سكن قرطبة سمع من قاسم بن أصبغ وابن أيمن وابن الشاط وغيرهم وشاوره بن أسلم ومنذر وغيرهما. وولي قضاء طليطلة وبطليوس وتصرف في الإمامات وبنى حصون الثغر وكان موثوقاً به مأموناً على ما تولاه تفقه عنده جماعة وسمع منه بن الفرضي وغيره توفي سنة ثلاثة وتسعين وثلاثمائة.ومن كتاب الوفيات لشمس الدين بن خلكان:
