    عبد الخالق أبو القاسم السيوري من أهل إفريقية هو أبو القاسم: عبد الخالق بن عبد الوارث خاتمة علماء إفريقية وآخر شيوخ القيروان ذو البيان البديع في الحفظ والقيام على المذهب والمعرفة بخلاف العلماء وكان فاضلاً نظاراً زاهداً أديباً وله تعاليق على المدونة. أخذ عنه أصحابه وعليه تفقه عبد الحميد واللخمي وبعدهم حسان بن البربري وطال عمره فكانت وفاته سنة ستين وأربعمائة بالقيروان.
