    ٦٦ - أبو حفص الكبير اسمه أحمد بن جعفر تقدم وتكرر ذكره بالكنية في الهداية له أصحاب وأتباع كثيرون قال السمعاني فى باب الخيزاخري هي قرية من بخارى فيها جماعة من الفقهاء من أصحاب أبي حفص الكبير كان يقول لو أن رجلا عبد الله خمسين سنة ثم أهدى يوم النيروز إلى رجل من المشركين بيضة يريد بها تعظيم ذلك اليوم فقد كفر ويحبط علمه
