٣١ - أبو بكر بن عيسى بن عثمان بن أحمد الأشعري ثم البقرمي بقرم بطن من الأشعر عرف بابن حنكاس وحنكاس بلغة الحبشة الأعرج كان فقيها فروعيا أصوليا خلافيا يعرف الجبر والمقابلة والفرائض والحساب رئيس أصحاب أبي حنيفة قرأ على الشريف الإمام عثمان بن عتيق الحسيني الزبيدي من زبيد سنة ثمان وستين مائة ولد ليلة الرابع عشر من شهر رمضان سنة تسع وتسعين وخمس مائة ومات بها سابع عشرين من ربيع الآخر سنة أربع وثمانين وست مائة والي يوم وفاته لم يوجد فقيه بزبيد والبلاد اليمنية إلا وقد اشتغل عليه وأجاز
