٥٤٩ - المفضل بن مسعود بن محمد بن يحيي بن أبي الفرح التنوخي الفقيه النحوي القاضي مولده بعد الستين وثلاث مائة تفقه على القدوري وعلى الصيمري وقرأ الأدب على علي بن عيسى بن الفرج الزيني وغيره وسمع ببغداد وبدمشق وغيرهما وحدث روى عنه أبو القاسم علي بن إبراهيم بن الحسن الدمشقي وغيره له من المصنفات كتاب أخبار النحويين وكتاب التنبيه رد فيه على الشافعي ذكر فيه ما خالف النصوص من القرآن والحديث وله رسالة في وجوب غسل الرجلين وله البيان عن الفصل في الأشربة بين الحلال والحرام مات سنة اثنتين أو ثلاث وأربعين وأربع مائة رحمه الله تعالى
