١٠٨٧ - عمر بن علي بن أحمد بن محمد بن أبي ذر الطالقاني بسكون اللام المحمودي أبو سعد والد القاضي الحميد قال السمعاني كان فاضلا كثير العبادة وسمع أبا علي الحسن بن علي الوحشي الحافظ وغيره سمع منه السمعاني فى بلخ وكان فقيها قاضيا ولد سنة سبع وخمسين وأربع مائة كذا أجاب به حين سأله السمعاني وقال عن عمر هذا كان فاضلا كثير المحفوظ من بيت العلم والقضاء والتقدم وممن له العبادة الكثيرة والقيام بالليل
