    ١٠٥٧ - علي مزلقان هو ابن محمد بن الحسن مدرس الديلمية بالقاهرة تفقه على صدر الدين الخلاطي ونجم الدين القزويني وناب عن القاضي عز الدين بالحسينية ويعرف بالركابي الشريف الملقب نور الدين ويلقب بالقادوس ويلقب بمزلقان فأما لقبه بالركابي فقيل كان عنده ركاب رسول الله ﷺ وكان عنده شعرات من شعره ﷺ وأما لقبه بالقادوس فلطول تكوير عمامته ووضع على الهداية شيئا ليس بطائل وأم بالمدرسة الظاهرية للطايفة الحنفية وهو أول إمام بها ومات في الخامس عشر من جمادى الأولى وسنة ثمان وسبع مائة رحمه الله تعالى
