٤٩٣ - الحسن بن المبارك بن محمد بن يحيى الزبيدي أبو علي الفقيه سمع أبا الوقت عبد الأول وغيره وعمر حتى حدث بالكثير قال ابن النجار كتبت عنه وكان فاضلا عالما أمينا متدينا صالحا حسن الطريقة رضي السيرة له معرفة تامة بالنحو وقد كتب كثيرا من كتب التفسير والحديث والتواريخ والأدب وكانت أوقاته محفوظة قال ابن النجار سألت أبا علي ابن الزبيدي عن مولده فقال فى سنة ثلاث وأربعين وخمس مائة ومات يوم السبت لليلتين بقية من شهر ربيع الأول سنة تسع وعشرين وست مائة ودفن يوم الأحد سلخ الشهر بمقبرة جامع المنصور ويأتي أخوه الحسين في بابه
