هارون بن موسى بن راشد المستملي الكبير، مكحلة: ترجم له حبان في "ثقاته" (١٠)، والخطيب في "تاريخه" (١١)، والسمعاني في "الأنساب" (١٢)، وجاء عندهم -إلا ابن حبان-: هارون بن سفيان بن راشد، ولا يوجد ذكر لموسى في نسبه، فلعله نسب إلى جده.تنبيه: جعل ابن حبان (مكحلة) هذا هو الراوي عن يزيد بن هارون، وأراه واهمًا في ذلك، حيث إنه خلط بين صاحب الترجمة وبين هارون بن سفيان بن بشير، مستملي يزيد بن هارون، والذي ترجم له الخطيب في "تاريخه" (١). ولم أر لمن ترجم (لمكحلة) ذكر في شيوخه يزيد بن هارون غير ابن حبان. والله أعلم.
