    ٧٧٥ - جد محمد بن مطرف قال (٢): لم أعرفه. قلت: الاسم مُحَرَّف، وصوابه: محمد بن مطرف قال: حدثتني جدتي هكذا جاء على الصواب عند ابن أبي عاصم في "الآحاد والمثاني" (٣). وذكره ابن أبي حاتم في "الجرح والتعديل" (٤)، وابن حجر في "الإصابة" (٥). والحديث من رواية خليفة بن خياط العصفري، قال أبو حاتم؟ -أو ابنه- لما ذكر هذا الحديث (٦): رواه شباب العصفري خليفة بن خياط ولا يعتمد على روايته. ولذلك لما ذكر ابن حبان في "الثقات" (٧) علقمة بن الحويرث -راوي هذا الحديث- لم يجزم بصحبته؛ لعدم ثبوت إسناده. وجدة محمد بن مطرف هذه لم أجدها، فرواية الحديث غير معتمدة.
