    ٧٧١ - المديني، عن أبي الحويرث، وعنه هشيم قال (٦): لم أعرفه. قلت: قال الطبراني عقب روايته لهذا الحديث (٧): المديني هو عندي فليح بن سليمان. اهـ. ولكني أخشى أن يكون المديني هذا هو علي بن زيد بن جدعان، حيث إنه لو ثبت أن أبا الحويرث هذا هو خالد بن الحويرث؛ فإن علي بن زيد بن جدعان له رواية عنه كما في "التهذيب". ولا سيما وأن الراوي عن المديني هو هشيم بن بشير المعروف بكثرة تدليسه لأسماء الرواة، والله أعلم.
