    ٦٩٤ - أبو سليمان، عنه محمد بن طحلاء قال (٣): وأبو سليمان الذي في إسناد أحمد لا أعرفه ,ولم أر من ترجمه. قلت: الذي جاء في "مسند" الإمام أحمد (٤): أبو سلمة، لا كما قال الهيثمي ﵀. وكذا جاء على الصواب أيضًا في "أطراف المسند" (٥) لابن حجر. وأبو سلمة هذا هو ابن عبد الرحمن بن عوف، الإمام التابعي المعروف.
