    ٤٨٠ - محمد بن خالد الكوفي قال (٨): لم أعرفه. قلت: هو محمد بن خالد بن خداش المهلبي، أبو بكر الضرير، سكن الكوفة. ترجم له المزّي في "تهذيبه" (٩)، وذكر رواية عبدان عنه؛ راوي حديثه هذا. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (١٠) وقال: حدثنا عنه من شيوخنا: ابن خزيمة، ربما أغرب.
