    ٣٢٤ - عبد الله بن وهيب العري قال (٢): شيخ الطبراني عبد الله وهيب العري, لم أعرفه. قلت: هو عبد الله بن محمَّد بن وهيب الغزي، أبو العباس الجذامي، ذكر اسمه هكذا المزّي فيمن روى عن محمَّد بن المتوكل من "تهذيبه" (٣). وقد ترجم له ابن ماكولا في "الإكمال" (٤)، والسمعاني في "الأنساب" (٥) -وجاء عنده ابن وهب مُصَحَّفًا -ولم يذكرا فيه جرحًا ولا تعديلًا.
