٣٢٠ - عبد الله بن مسلم صاحب السابري قال (٦): لم أعرفه. قلت: اسمه مُحَرَّف، وصوابه: عبيد بن مسلم، وقد جاء على الصواب عند البخاري في "الكبير" (٧)، وأبي يعلى في "مسنده" (٨)، وأبي الشيخ في "الأمثال" (٩). وترجم له البخاري وابن أبي حاتم ولم يذكرا فيه جرحًا ولا تعديلاً، إلَّا أن البخاري روى له حديثًا في ترجمته، وهذا في الغالب يكون من البخاري توهينًا لصاحب الترجمة. وصحَّح حديثه الضياء في "المختارة".
