    ٢٥٢ - العباس بن الحسن القنطري قال (١): لم أعرفه. قلت: هو العباس بن الحسن البلخي، أبو الفضل، سكن بغداد بقنطرة البردان. قاله المزي لما ترجم له في "تهذيبه" (٢) تمييزًا. وقال الخطيب في "تاريخه" (٣): ما علمت إلَّا خيرًا. تنبيه: وقد صَحَّف محقق "مجمع البحرين" (٤) للهيثمي صاحب هذه الترجمة فسمَّاه: العباس بن الحسين القنطري، وظن أنه هو الذي روى له البخاري في "صحيحه". وهذا وهم منه.
