    ٢٣٣ - صالح بن عطاء بن خباب قال (٤): لم أعرفه. قلت: هو صالح بن عطاء بن خباب، مولى بني الديل، هكذا سَمَّاه البخاري في "الكبير" (٥)، وروى له حديثه هذا.وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (١). ثم إن البخاري أردف بعده بترجمة، ترجمة أخرى لصالح بن عطاء المكّي، وكذا فعل ابن حبان في "الثقات" (١)، وقال: أحسبه الأول؛ يعني: مولى بني الدَّيْل.
