    ١٨٣ - زيد بن أحمد قال (١٠): لم أجد من ذكره. قلت: اسمه مُحَرَّف، وصوابه: يزيد بن أحمر، فقد جاء اسمه على الصواب عند البخاري في "الكبير" (١١)، وابن أبي حاتم في "الجرح والتعديل" (١٢)، وابن حبان في "الثقات" (١٣)، وذكروا له جميعًا رواية عبد الله بن يزيد الصهباني النخعي عنه، وهو راوي حديثه هذا عنه.
