    ١٤٢ - حليس بن المعتمر قال (٨): لم أجد من ذكره. قلت: صواب اسمه: حنش بن المعتمر، وهو الكناني، أبو المعتمر الكوفي. روى له أبو داود، والترمذي، والنسائي في "خصائص علي" ﵁. وترجم له الحافظ المِزّي في "تهذيبه" (٩). وذكره الدارقطني في "تعليقه على المجروحين لابن حبان" (١٠)، وفرّق بينه وبين حنش الصنعاني، وحنش بن عبد الله من أهل الكوفة.
