    ١٠٠٩٦- أبو شاه اليماني «١» . يقال: إنه كلبي، ويقال إنه فارسي من الأبناء الذين قدموا اليمن في نصرة سيف بن ذي يزن، كذا رأيت بخط السلفي، وقيل إن هاءه أصلية، وهو بالفارسي معناه الملك، قال: ومن ظنّ أنه باسم أحد الشياه فقد وهم. انتهى. وقد ثبت ذكره في الصحيحين في حديث أبي هريرة في خطبة النبيّ ﷺ يوم الفتح، فقام رجل يقال له أبو شاه، فقال: اكتبوا لي يا رسول اللَّه. فقال: «اكتبوا لأبي شاه» «٢» ، يعني الخطبة المذكورة.
