    أحمد بن يحيى بن فضّل الله العمريّ. صاحب كتاب «مسالك الأبصار في ممالك الأمصار»، وكتاب «الدّائرة بين مكّة والبلاد»، كذا ذكره بعض من صنّف من الحنابلة في الطّبقات وهو غلط محض؛ فإنّه شافعيّ مشهور، ولعلّه رأى هذا الاسم الآتي فظنّه هو، فلقد رأيت كتابا في الفقه يرمز بحروف للخلاف كالفروع وكتب في آخره ما نصّه: تمّ الكتاب المسمّى ب «التّذكرة»، بل «مختار الجوامع» تعليقا لنفسه أحمد ابن يحيى بن العماد الحنبليّ بالقاهرة المعزّيّة خامس شهر جمادى الأولى سنة ٨٦١.١٦٣ -
