يوسف بن الدّاية ( ... - ٢٦٥ هـ) ( ... - ٨٧٨ م) يوسف بن ابراهيم المعروف بابن الداية (ابو الحسن) كاتب، حاسب، اخباريمن أهل بغداد. رحل الى دمشق، ومنها الى مصر، فكان من جلة كتابها ومن اهل الثراء والنعمة فيها، وكانت له حسنات مستورة كبيرة وعطايا يجريها على من قعد بهم الدهر، وتوفي بمصر نحو سنة ٢٦٥ هـ. من آثاره: اخبار المنجمين، اخبار الاطباء، واخبار ابراهيم بن المهدي.
