يعقوب التّبّاني (٧٦٠ - ٨٢٧ هـ) (١٣٥٩ - ١٤٢٤ م) يعقوب بن جلال بن احمد الرومي، ثم القاهري، الحنبلي، المعروف بالتباني (شرف الدين) اديب مشارك في الفقه وعلوم العربية والحديث وغير ذلك. ولي نظر الكسوة ووكالة بيت المال، واتصل بالمؤيد وتقدم عنده، وساءت حاله بعده، وتوفي فجأة. من آثاره: شرح مشارق الأنوار النبوية للصغاني، وتعليق على شرح العمدة لابن دقيق العيد.
