    يحيى الشهاري (١٠٤٤ - ١٠٩٠ هـ) (١٦٣٥ - ١٦٧٩ م) يحيى بن الحسين بن محمد بن القاسم بن محمد الشهاري، الزيدي. فقيه، طبيب. ولد بشهارة باليمن، وتفقه بها، وانتقل الى صنعاء، فدرّس، وأخذ الطب عن الحكيم محمد بن صالح الجيلاني، وولي صنعاء، ثم عزل، ثم ولاه المهدي احمد بن الحسن بريم وذماء، وتوفي في صفر. من آثاره: منظومة تشتمل على عقيدة المتوكل على الله اسماعيل بن القاسم وشرحها، ورسالة في توثيق ابي خالد الواسطي.
