محمود التونكي ( ... - ١٣٦٦ هـ) تقريبا ( ... - ١٩٤٧ م) محمود حسن التونكي. فقيه، عارف بالرجال، مشارك في العلوم العقلية. ولد في بلدة تونك عاصمة احدى الامارات الاسلامية في الهند، ونشأ بها، وحفظ القرآن، واخذ عن علمائها، وتوفي بها من آثاره: معجم المصنفين طبع منه اربعة اجزاء، ورسالة في الصيد.
